v0.26.0 Custom Build Servers, Docs Improvements & Multi-Admin Capabilities
December 8, 2025 • 3 min read

We are thrilled to announce the release of Dokploy v0.26.0! This update is packed with significant new capabilities and enhancements, focusing on giving you more control, better communication, and more flexible team management.
Custom Build Servers
We know that flexibility in building infrastructure is key for many of you. Now, Dokploy gives you unprecedented control! We've implemented the ability to configure and use your own custom build servers. This means you can define exactly where and how your applications are built, adapting to your specific workflows and performance requirements. This new feature is only currently available for applications.

When creating a server, you can choose between two options: deployment server or build server:

Multi-Administrator Management
Collaboration in large teams requires robust permission management tools. We have significantly improved our user administration capabilities, allowing for greater flexibility and security:
Multiple Admins: You can now designate multiple users as administrators within Dokploy, facilitating the delegation of responsibilities and project management.

Rollbacks Rework
We've completely re-engineered our rollback mechanism to provide a more secure and robust solution for managing application versions. Previously, rollback images were stored directly on the server. With v0.26.0, we've introduced a new, safer approach:
Registry-Based Rollbacks: Rollback images are no longer stored locally on the server. Instead, they now require an external image registry for storage and retrieval. This significantly enhances security by centralizing image management and leveraging the robust features of dedicated registries.

Docs Improvements
We've dedicated considerable effort to enhancing our documentation, making it clearer and more comprehensive. Thanks to the invaluable feedback from our community on Discord, we've been able to identify areas for improvement and expand our content. This version includes:
- New Detailed Guides: We've added specific guides for setting up Cloudflare Tunnels and Tailscale, making it easier to integrate Dokploy with these popular networking tools.
- Updated FAQs and Troubleshooting: We've extensively reviewed and updated our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and tutorial sections, directly addressing community-reported confusions and issues. This ensures that the information is more accurate and user-friendly for all users.

We are updating Dokploy’s Open Source license
January 21, 2026 • 3 min read
Today marks a big change to the Dokploy’s licensing. We’re replacing our adapted open source license with an industry-standard open source license. Paired with that, we’re releasing a source-available enterprise license for future paid functionality. * Replace Old License: Our old license was an adapted version of the Apache License 2.0, which caused confusion. We are replacing it with a non-adapted version. * Apache License 2.0: All current features of Dokploy are now officially licensed und
